JOAQUIN LICHTLE

Joaquin Lichtle is a composer, conductor, producer and speaker considered one of the 100 Most Creative Mexicans In the World by Forbes Mexico.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude with double major degree from Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring and ‘Professional Music’ with a focus in composition and arranging. While in college, Joaquin was artistic director, conductor and arranger of the Audire Soundtrack Choir & Orchestra at Berklee. In his last semester, he produced and conducted the biggest off-campus performance in the group's history with 60+ musicians on stage from 15 different countries. The performance was held at MIT's iconic Kresge Auditorium. He additionally worked for two years as a tutor, mentor and supervisor at Berklee's Core Music Tutoring Department, helping American and international students develop their musical skills.
During the end of his third year, he interned at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, studio that has brought to life soundtracks for movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Dune, others. Upon graduation, Joaquin moved to Los Angeles and had the privilege of developing his career during his three-year involvement with Bleeding Fingers Music, a composer collective led by Hans Zimmer and Russell Emmanuel, starting his journey as a Technical Score Assistant to Christian Lundberg. Award-winning projects in which Joaquin participated are Around The World In 80 Days (BBC), Earth At Night: In Color (Apple TV+) & The Cave Of Adullam (ESPN).
In October 2022, the Around The World In 80 Days series was nominated for the Music+Sound Awards under the category of Best Original Composition In Film + Television Programme Titles. Joaquin had the honor of being included in the list of finalists as Technical Score Assistant alongside Zimmer, Emmanuel and Lundberg. Moreover, he advanced to the role of Junior Composer, and later Freelance Composer. Through Bleeding Fingers and Sony Music’s Extreme Music Library, his music is placed on Netflix, National Geographic, History, Discovery+, A&E, ABC, NBC, others.
Joaquin’s music has received additional international recognition from institutions such as the American Prize (USA, 2024), Global Music Awards (Intl, 2023), IBLA Grand Prize (Italy, 2023), Semifinalist for the NYC Contemporary Music Symposium (USA, 2023) as well as First and Second Prize from Marker and Pioneer International Music Competition (USA, 2023). He has shared his experience at conferences and been a guest speaker at top institutions such as UCLA, Berklee, UNAM, INBAL, Rec Musica, others.
Collaborations include New York Times Best Selling Author Maximilian Uriarte (USA, 2024), award-winning director Miguel Duran (USA,2023); as well as work premiers by GRAMMY Award-winning soprano Hila Plitmann (USA, 2023), Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini (Italy, 2024), Trio Immersio (Vienna, 2024) & Quatuor Diotima (USA, 2024). His teachers include GRAMMY award-winning composer Richard Danielpour, Peter Golub, Ian Krouse, Alla Cohen, Vadim Neselovski & Tim Huling. Joaquin is currently pursuing a Masters in Music Composition at UCLA on a fellowship.
